![]() ![]() Overall it was a great stay & wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Only a short walk to Fremont St and if the weather is bad then you can cut through the California & Las Vegas Club. Service was great from all employees in the hotel, casino & restaurants. Also ate at the Triple 7 a few times & it was very good as well. We ate at the buffet twice for breakfast & it was great with good prices (save money if you're a B-connected member). The building itself has lovely old-fashioned wood styling with lots of antiques. We did hear trains on occasion but only once in the middle of the night so no big worries there. I had no problems with sound from the freeway - our room faced south & had a nice view towards Fremont St. Yes the TV is old, but it works fine & has enough channels to keep you entertained. My only gripe was with the bathroom - the sink area was fine but the toilet/shower area could use some sprucing up. For this deal I think this place is amazing! The room was quite spacious, the bed very comfortable. The average price per night was about $45 and we also received $20 in food credit per day & a $10 slot matchplay.
